Duration 3 - 4 Days with good aclimatization to altitude and weather conditions.

This is the highest peak close to Leh with amazing views to the East Karakorum, Nun Kun and Paskistani Karakorum including K2, Gasherbrums and with perfect weather conditions Nanga Parbat, the Indus Valley, Zanskar and more. Very accesible, not very technical but requires physical conditions and above all very good aclimatization. Previous treck in altitude with at least one night sleeping above 5000m is absolutely recomended. 

According to that:

Day 1: From Leh by car to Stok village where donkeys if arranged are waiting. Small breakfast if necessary and after that about 5 hours treck up to Mankarmo camp at around 4300m. Spend night there.

Day 2: After breakfast from Mankarmo 3 hours treck to Stok Kangri base camp at 4950m. Some time for lunch and after some rest excursion to Stok Kangri glacier around 5200m is recomended for better aclimatization. After that, dinner and sleep.

Day 3 : Summit Day : After breakfast, walk again up to Stok Kangri Glacier or along the Golep Kangri ridge side by side its glacier. Lunch time and rest untill 01:00h in the night where climbing normally begins. Up to the glacier 5200m, traverse to the Stok Kangri face, climb to its main ridge and from there we should summit around 06:00-07:00h in the sunrise. Total time 6-7 hours in good conditions. After that, climb down to Base Camp and relax untill next day.

Day 4: Treck back to Stok and drive to Leh.
